Our website design process begins with the discovery phase. During this initial phase we will evaluate your needs so that we figure out together exactly what type of solution you need. We will use this information to develop a customized project proposal which presents our project ideas, costs, and time-frame.

Following the discovery phase we will move to the design phase. By this time we will have agreed upon the specifics of the project and your content such as copy and images will have been submitted to us. We will use this content and the specifications of the project proposal to develop the look and feel of the website by designing a comprehensive layout. The design comp is basically a non-functioning mock-up which we will submit for your approval. Once the design is approved we can move to coding the actual website using the design comp as a basis.

The development phase of the process will consist of coding the website to transform the non-functional design comp into a fully functional website. During this phase the ball will be mostly in our court as we hunker down with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript code. Once the coding is complete we will spend the remainder of the phase thoroughly testing the website on multiple web browsers to ensure a consistent user experience and to squash any bugs should they arise.

The final phase of the website design process is to launch your new site by uploading it to your web hosting account and to redirect your domain name. If you are hosting your site through us and have also registered your domain name through us we can handle this process very easily. If your hosting and domain are provided through a third party such as GoDaddy.com or NetworkSolutions.com we will require the login information for those providers so that we can access your account to upload the website files. Following these final steps your website will be published and online to the public.
